I purchased 8 rolls as I didn't know how far it would go. Safe to say I have more than enough for an entire car! It has just the right mix of tensile strength, adhesive, and stretch. It tears across easily so you can just rip it when you have used enough. It covers funny bumps and allows you to taper your looms as it stretches slightly. I was very impressed with the quality. As I said, I bought 8 rolls as I thought I'd need 3 - 4 rolls for the engine bay. I did the entire engine bay on my BMW E36 325is with ONE roll. It's handy stuff to have in any toolbox.
