Car Builders' 4-Way Stretch Carpet is a high-quality, cut pile carpet. It is flexible and pliable, allowing it to contour to the most complex surfaces. As a true automotive grade, this universal carpet is UV-stable and can easily be applied with contact adhesive.

Ideal for:
Walls, 1/4 panel's, wheel arches, rear firewalls, roofs, boot lids, speaker boxes, etc.

Please note, it is not suitable for underfoot areas. Find your specific vehicle's floor carpet under 'Moulded Carpets'

Beginner

Never used a product like this and procrastinated for ages, hence delaying my campervan conversion. Practiced on the removable panels first, then tackled the wheel arches etc. Much easier than I expected and whilst I didnt always get it right, I'm happy with the result.

I was pleased to see how quickly the order arrived at my door, the spray glue was packed securely inside and marked with a fragile sticker so all care taken. Product has applied nicely to my van and very happy with the results!

Auto carpet

I purchased auto carpet on Amazon for about the same price. I needed more carpet so purchased auto carpet from Car builders. The car builders carpet is twice as dense as the Amazon product and gives a better result covering the interior of our camper van fit out. I would highly recommend this product.

Quality product that does what it is intended for

Firstly, ordered and received within 3 days - excellent speed and service. Bought 2 lots of 3 x 2m carpet for carpeting the panels supplied in the Ford Custom Transit as well as new roof panels I scribed to fit. So the surface was flat but many curves involved in a 2D sense and the carpet cutting out and placing with the spray adhesive work seamlessly. I found to cut an extra 60mm and pre cut the carpet shape before gluing worked best with each can of adhesive for me covering around 1 3/4 m squared x both sides. I watched the video beforehand and everything worked out - might go into early retirement and do van fit-outs - have a mates van to do next as he saw how easy it was. The finish job looks amazing and all clips went back in as the 6mm carpet compresses to about 2mm - though I did modify a mtb tyre lever to help push back in. Thoroughly recommend.

Cut the confusion over which carpet to use

Purchased the carpet based on feedback and was not disappointed. I had a look at other options purchasing in person but just got so confused with all the different options and qualities out there. Order arrived in just a couple of days, very manageable sizes which made it a breeze to apply. Easy to trim, spray adhesive worked well and all I would recommend is a wider application roller to press it all down. I had an issue with getting holes to push some bolts through but help (and a soldering iron) was only a phone call away. Looking at using these guys for the moulded carpets mainly due to the after service these guys provide.

Excellent products and customer service

Purchased the 4 way stretch automotive carpet to cover a false floor for new Nissan Patrol. They happily sent a sample so we could check quality before purchasing. The quality was excellent. Customer service went above and beyond. Would 100% recommend purchasing from these guys. Also recommend purchasing the spray adhesive they can bundle. It is far superior and easier to use then ones available from a large retail hardware.

Wish I had found you guys years ago, we do the occasional van fit out requiring the inner walls to be lined and your Stretch carpet is by far the easiest to use by a long way over anything I've used before & the adhesive spray out performed too!! I was actually blown away by the difference. Service was quick and easy to match, will be back for sure!
